mika kuns 29ea18c427 fix(ui): make diff-stat parsing locale-safe and dedupe the two parsers
TaskRowViewModel had its own ParseDiffStat expecting "+12"/"-3" tokens that
`git diff --stat` never emits, so the row badge always showed 0/0. Meanwhile
DetailsIslandViewModel's parser matched only the English words
"insertion"/"deletion", so it broke on a localized git (e.g. German Windows:
"Einfügung(en)"/"Löschung(en)").

Row and detail badge now share one parser, anchored on git's untranslated
(+)/(-) suffix instead of the language-dependent word before it, so it reads
correctly in any locale. Also corrected the Worker CLAUDE.md's branch-name
claim (`claudedo/{taskId[:8]}`) to match the actual full-GUID branch name.

mika kuns 4cf601e423 feat(ui): surface depends_on blocking in status chip, chain label, and detail pane
Usability-Audit 2026-09-10 found three gaps versus the dependency-chain-display
spec: a Queued task blocked on an unmet task_dependencies edge rendered the same
chip as one about to run, a cross-list predecessor silently dropped the
"after #N" chip, and the detail pane showed nothing about a wait at all.

- TaskRowViewModel gains IsBlockedByDependency/DependencyWaitLabel (extrinsic,
assigned by TasksIslandViewModel like the existing chain fields); IsQueued/
  IsWaiting/StatusChipClass/StatusLabel/StatusChipTooltip now account for it
alongside the existing BlockedByTaskId planning-chain link.
- TasksIslandViewModel.ApplyDependencyWaitState computes the blocked flag and
wait label per row; a new RefreshExternalDependencyCacheAsync backfills
Number/Title/Status for predecessors not loaded into the current list's
Items (reusing the already-open DbContext, no new hub method), so
BuildAfterLabel/blocking both resolve a listenfremder Vorgänger correctly.
- New "waiting" chip style (IslandStyles.axaml) and locale keys (en+de);
TaskHeaderBar shows a "Waiting on #N" line bound straight to the same row.

Tests: TasksIslandChainTests (blocked/unblocked chip, cross-list predecessor),
DetailsIslandDependencyWaitTests (new), TaskRowViewModelNotificationsTests
updated for the new notification set.

Vorgaenger blockiert.

Mika Kuns c25732cff8 feat(claude-do): depends_on als Menge statt Einzelfeld
alte ON DELETE SET NULL: geloeschter Vorgaenger = Kante weg = Task wieder
pickbar). BlockedByTaskId bleibt unberuehrt.

- Migration AddTaskDependencies kopiert jede bestehende depends_on_task_id
- QueuePicker gatet per doppelt negiertem NOT EXISTS: kein Task mit 0 Kanten
  verschwundenen Task blockiert weiter
BFS ueber den Graphen, faengt also auch A->B->C->A
- blockedReason nennt alle offenen Vorgaenger (External/TaskBlocking, von
  ExternalMcpService und TaskWaitMcpTools gemeinsam genutzt)
- add_task/update_task nehmen dependsOnTaskIds; die alte Skalarform bleibt
  als Ein-Element-Menge inkl. ""-Clear-Sentinel gueltig

Mika Kuns c1ab042d0a fix(ui): block delete on interactive-session tasks, clear ghost selection
Delete (row context menu + detail header) now gates on HasInteractiveSession
the same way SendToQueue already does, so an open ConPTY session's claude
process can't be orphaned by deleting its task out from under it.

Row removal (in-UI delete and the delta-refresh path for externally deleted
tasks) now clears SelectedTask via SelectFrom(null, "row-removed") when the
removed row was selected, so the detail pane no longer keeps showing a
deleted task with live buttons.

Mika Kuns f70aec495b fix(ui): store ScheduledFor as real UTC instead of mislabeled local time
The DB's global UtcConverter only tags DateTimes as Utc on read
(SpecifyKind), it never converts on write. SetScheduledForAsync persisted
the ThemedDatePicker's Local/Unspecified wall-clock value verbatim, so
QueuePicker's comparison against DateTime.UtcNow fired scheduled tasks late
by the local UTC offset (e.g. 2h in CEST). Convert to UTC at the write
boundary, and ToLocalTime() at the read/compare sites (overdue checks in
TaskRowViewModel/TasksIslandViewModel, the date-picker's edit seed) so
existing scheduled/overdue display doesn't shift.

Existing DB rows hold local wall-clock values mistagged as Utc; no
migration added (few rows, one-time 2h-class shift accepted per the
originating audit finding).

Mika Kuns 299c7b749c fix(worker): close status-force bypasses on Running tasks
update_task_status Idle/Done, WorkerHub.SetTaskStatus, and the UI's Mark
Done/Cancelled menu items could all force a Running task's status without
going through TaskStateService's guards, leaving its CLI process untracked
and its worktree writes silently dropped. Idle now routes through the
already-guarded TaskStateService.ResetToIdleAsync instead of the repo's
unconditional ResetToManualAsync; Done and SetTaskStatus explicitly reject
Running; the context menu disables both entries with a tooltip while
running. TaskRunner also now logs a warning whenever a terminal transition
(SubmitForChildren/SubmitForReview/Complete/Fail) is rejected instead of
silently discarding the run result. DeleteTask's MCP path gets the same
friendly foreign-key message WorkerHub.DeleteTask already had for a task
with children.

Mika Kuns baba921696 refactor(ui): derive TaskRowViewModel CanX/DisabledReason pairs from one gate method
SendToQueue, Cancel, Refine, Planning and OpenWorktree each had a CanX property
and a hand-written negation of it for the DisabledReason tooltip, kept in sync
only by a comment's promise. Replace each pair with a private gate method
returning (Can, Reason) so there is one source of truth per condition, and add
a state-matrix test pinning down the CanX == (Reason == null) invariant that
the old comment only asserted.

Group 1 of the task-row context menu gets a fourth gated entry, right
after "Open interactive session": it opens the task's worktree folder
via Process.Start/UseShellExecute, mirroring ListsIslandViewModel's
OpenInExplorer. Missing worktree greys the item out with a tooltip
reason instead of hiding it, keeping Group 1's fixed length. Failures
report through TasksIslandViewModel.ErrorReported (footer strip), not
a silent catch.

mika kuns 51dc7bd61b feat(ui): Task-Zeile entdichten und Kontextmenü gruppieren (UX-Struktur A)
Gruppe 1 (Send to queue, Remove from queue, Cancel execution, Open quick
statt komplett auszublenden. Planning/Schedule wandern in Untermenüs (Mark as

Tooltips genutzt.

mika kuns eba0d842b5 feat(worker): report worktree-creation phase on OperationProgress
Fills the silent gap between Queued and the first agent output: WorktreeManager
now broadcasts a "creating_worktree" phase (before the initial git worktree add
and again for the self-heal retry section) through the existing OperationProgress
channel, and the task row shows it via the pre-existing but unused
ops.worker.creatingWorktree locale key until the next entity refresh clears it.

Confirmed the 2026-08-07 triage finding still holds: TaskRunner already
broadcasts WorktreeUpdated right after WorktreeManager.CreateAsync
(TaskRunner.cs:342-346, :501) -- no second broadcast added there.

mika kuns 18babe3dee feat(ui): compute dependency-chain step/grouping in TasksIslandViewModel
Slice 1 of dependency-chain display: TaskRowViewModel gains DependsOnTaskId
plus the extrinsic ShowAsChainMember/ChainStep/ChainAfterLabel contract for
Slice 2's rail/badge rendering. Regroup's ClassifyItems walks each row's
DependsOnTaskId chain per section, pulls dependents directly under their
head regardless of SortOrder, and falls back to a flat row + label when the
head isn't in the same section (mirrors the ParentInView precedent).
Planning children never join a chain group - parent indent wins - and only
ever carry the label.

No AXAML changes; that's Slice 2.

mika kuns 38af549a80 feat(ui,worker): surface task numbers in row/detail UI and worker log
Slice 4/5 of task-numbers: TaskRowViewModel.Number renders as a dimmed
"#123" before the row title; DetailsIslandViewModel.TaskIdBadge now
shows "#123" instead of the unusable "#T<guid-prefix>" handle; and the
curated WorkerLog business events in TaskRunner, TaskMergeService, and
TaskResetService prefix their quoted title with "#<Number>".

mika kuns a067a7bfff fix(mcp): report a Failed task's failureReason instead of a bare status
get_task/batch_get_tasks now return failureReason (max_turns|timeout|error|
cancelled|unknown) plus failureTurnsUsed/failureMaxTurns on a Failed task, so
max_turns (worktree usually fine, continue_task) is distinguishable from a
real error (reset_failed_task) without pulling get_task_log's raw NDJSON.
Classified and stamped onto TaskEntity by TaskRunner.MarkFailed via
TaskStateService.FailAsync; TaskRunEntity also keeps the CLI's raw
terminal_reason/result_subtype/errors for deeper diagnosis. reset_failed_task's
description now warns explicitly that it discards the worktree and points at
continue_task for max_turns. Surfaced on the task card's status-chip tooltip.

mika kuns 359bb3a439 refactor(ui): clean up task-row drag visuals
Collapse the grabbed row out of layout instead of overlapping neighbors
with scale/opacity/shadow (the ghost window already shows the moving
snapshot). Replace the thin moss drop-hint lines with a dashed
placeholder gap sized like a collapsed row. Suppress the ordinary hover
highlight and transitions on whatever row is currently the drop target
so it doesn't read as "clickable" while dragging.

mika kuns d84607f796 fix(ui): gate queueing on an open interactive ConPTY session
A task-based ConPTY session leaves the row Idle in the DB (sessions never
touch status), so nothing stopped the queue picker from claiming it too:
CanSendToQueue ignored HasInteractiveSession, and both TasksIslandViewModel.
SendToQueueAsync and MissionControlViewModel.EnqueueTaskAsync (drag-to-queue)
wrote Status=Queued straight via EF, bypassing TaskStateService entirely and
its manual/draft-child guards. That let an autonomous claude process spawn in
the same worktree a user was hand-editing in the ConPTY pane.

Add !HasInteractiveSession to CanSendToQueue, and route both UI enqueue paths
through IWorkerClient.SetTaskStatusAsync (worker hub -> TaskStateService.
EnqueueAsync) instead of raw EF writes. The interactive-session gate itself
stays in the UI: the worker has no notion of a UI-hosted ConPTY pane.

mika kuns 87de53e052 refactor(ui): remove pick-up-in-terminal, keep ConPTY as the single session entry
Two context-menu entries opened a Claude session for the same task via different
mechanisms (embedded ConPTY vs. an external wt terminal). Drop the external-terminal
path entirely, including its worker hub method, launcher plumbing, and localization
keys, since the embedded ConPTY session already covers every case it did.

Mika Kuns 3a648b7d77 feat(tasks): mark tasks and lists as manual
Reminders written down as todos had no home: every task looked like Claude work.
A manual task now shows a MANUAL badge and hides send-to-queue, refine and the
planning session; the queue picker, daily prep and the list handler all skip it,
with a TaskStateService guard so the MCP surface and hub cannot start one either.
Opening a hand-driven ConPTY session stays available on purpose.

A list can be marked manual in its settings, which makes tasks created there
(UI and MCP add_task) start out manual. Toggle per task from its context menu.

Mika Kuns c93a20f20c feat(ui): Interactive chip for tasks with an open ConPTY session
A task driven by hand in Mission Control is Idle with an Active worktree, so its
lifecycle chip read "Parked" — indistinguishable from a task genuinely set aside.
The shell now mirrors Mission Control's open panes onto the rows, which show an
accent "Interactive" chip instead; tapping it surfaces Mission Control and
focuses that pane (the open command already dedupes by task id).

mika kuns e8f7e3a47a fix(ui): hide misleading Idle chip on planning parents
A planning parent stays Status=Idle while its session is Active (or

already conveys the state.

'grabbed' Border.task-row.dragging style (lift + scale + lower opacity +
shadow). Not yet wired into the drag source.

mika kunsandClaude Opus 4.7 ce79a2d0fe feat(planning): gate subtask queueing behind plan finalization
Planning subtasks are now "Draft" until their parent plan is finalized,
then "Planned" (queueable). Finalizing a plan no longer auto-queues the
child chain; the user sends the plan to the queue explicitly.

- TaskStateService rejects a child entering Queued/Running unless its parent
is Finalized; this single invariant covers UI, queue, RunNow and MCP paths
- WorkerHub.SetTaskStatus routes Queued through the gated EnqueueAsync
- Finalize call sites pass queueAgentTasks: false
- PlanningChainCoordinator.QueuePlanAsync guards the chain build on Finalized
- TaskRowViewModel derives Draft/Planned from ParentFinalized; gates
CanSendToQueue / CanQueuePlan; view shows a PLANNED badge

mika kunsandClaude Opus 4.7 967e0cd319 feat(ui): merge action and robust jump-to-task in worktrees overview
Add Merge entry to the worktrees overview context menu wiring the existing
MergeModalViewModel, replace fire-and-forget list selection with a
collection-change-aware JumpToTaskHelper, and propagate list renames to

Harden worktree state changes: WorkerHub.SetWorktreeState now rejects

the on-disk worktree was actually removed, and Cleanup/Reset broadcast
WorktreeUpdated for affected tasks. SetWorktreeStateAsync returns the hub
error message so the modal can surface it.

Also: de-duplicate the worktrees overview modal opener, hook

Mika Kuns dc3fc443b4 refactor(data): retire legacy TaskStatus values and backfill existing rows

* Drop Manual, Planning, Planned, Draft, Waiting from the TaskStatus enum

(Idle, Queued, Running, Done, Failed, Cancelled).
* Add migration RetireLegacyTaskStatus that rewrites existing rows:
  manual/draft -> idle, planning -> idle+planning_phase=active,
  planned -> idle+planning_phase=finalized, waiting -> queued+blocked_by
derived from sort_order via a CTE with LAG().
* Reroute every call site that compared/set legacy values to the new
three-field model (Status + PlanningPhase + BlockedByTaskId), including
the planning repo helpers, MCP services, the planning chain coordinator,
and the UI view-models. TaskRowViewModel now exposes PlanningPhase to
  drive the planning badge.
* Refresh Worker/CLAUDE.md and Data/CLAUDE.md, the docs/plan.md status
section, and the planning verification notes in docs/open.md.

Mika KunsandClaude Opus 4.7 4ab906ff0b feat(planning): consolidate finalize+chain via TaskStateService, fix queue pickup
Slice 4 of the worker state consolidation refactor. Eliminates the
"queue never picks up planning tasks" bug structurally by routing both
the manager and MCP finalize paths through TaskStateService and
PlanningChainCoordinator.SetupChainAsync, where the auto-wake on enqueue
guarantees the queue picker claims the first child immediately.

- Delete TaskRepository.FinalizePlanningAsync; PlanningSessionManager
  now orchestrates via _state.FinalizePlanningAsync + _chain.SetupChainAsync.
- Rename QueueSubtasksSequentiallyAsync to SetupChainAsync (internal);
layout is now Status=Queued + BlockedByTaskId, with auto-attached agent tag.
- OnChildFinishedAsync looks up the successor by BlockedByTaskId, drops
  the legacy Waiting status lookup.
- PlanningMcpService.Finalize routes through state+chain; EditableStatuses
drops Waiting and adds Idle; gate uses PlanningPhase==Active.
- TaskStateService.FinalizePlanningAsync clears the planning session token.
- UI: TaskRowViewModel adds BlockedByTaskId; IsQueued/IsWaiting reflect
  the new layout; TasksIslandViewModel.RemoveFromQueueAsync clears
  BlockedByTaskId on dequeue.
- New regression test PlanningEndToEndTests.FinalizeAsync_FirstChildIs
ClaimedByPicker_WithinDeadline asserts the picker claims the first
child within 200ms with no manual WakeQueue.

Mika Kuns bdb709b264 feat(ui): show dequeue affordance on planning parents with queued children
Planning parents stay in Planning/Planned status while their children are
Queued/Waiting, so the existing IsQueued-only visibility rule hid the dequeue
button. Add HasQueuedSubtasks tracking and a CanRemoveFromQueue helper; the
parent-row dequeue cascades to all queued/waiting children. Also attach the
'agent' tag on explicit enqueue so the queue picker accepts the task.

mika kunsandClaude Opus 4.7 8f94dddbc5 feat(ui): queue planning subtasks sequentially and surface waiting status
Adds a "Queue subtasks sequentially" context-menu entry on rows with planning children, wires it to WorkerHub.QueuePlanningSubtasksAsync via IWorkerClient. TaskRowViewModel exposes IsWaiting/StatusChipClass for the new Waiting status, and HasPlanningChildren keeps parents expandable after they leave the planning state. TasksIslandViewModel auto-collapses parents whose every child is Done and includes Waiting children in the queued virtual list.

mika kunsandClaude Opus 4.7 b7c60f5838 feat(ui): live task updates from worker events + planning polish
Wire TasksIslandViewModel to TaskUpdated/WorktreeUpdated/TaskMessage worker
events so rows refresh without a full reload; add ForegroundHelper to permit
wt.exe to take foreground on planning launch; misc UI polish on lists, task
rows and settings modal.

mika kuns 6f725d12f5 feat(ui): add queueing and scheduling from task row context menu
- Right-click on a task row exposes Send to queue / Remove from queue
and Schedule for... / Clear schedule actions.
- New virtual:queued list in the sidebar with live count.
- Sidebar counts are now computed (open per list, running, queued,
review) and refreshed on task- and worker-side events.
- Sending a task to the queue wakes the worker so it starts immediately.
