OpenListSettingsAsync/CreateListAsync used to await LoadAsync (name/agent
config/list_config x2/ticket settings/ticket projects, all serial) before
showing the window -- an unreachable ticket system alone could add a 10s
HTTP timeout to every open. LoadAsync now runs via BeginLoad (fire-and-forget,
mirrors UsageMonitorModalViewModel), the modal shows immediately and fields
fill in behind it.
GetListConfigAsync no longer runs twice per open -- AgentConfigEditorViewModel
exposes the row it already fetched (LastLoadedListConfig) instead of the
caller re-fetching it. Ticket-project loading is split into its own
fire-and-forget step so a slow/unreachable ticket system can't block the
rest of the fields, and its tri-state Save logic now also treats "never
finished loading" like "not available" -- leaving the stored
TicketProjectId link untouched instead of overwriting it with 0. Save/Delete
are gated (CanExecute) on the core load being done, so a save can't land
before the fields it writes are populated.
Not measured with OperationTiming against a live worker in this session (no
running app instance available) -- verified instead via 4 new unit tests
that assert GetListConfigAsync fires exactly once and that a hung/failing
ticket-projects call neither blocks LoadAsync's other fields nor corrupts
the saved TicketProjectId. Before/after OperationTiming numbers and a visual
pass are still open follow-ups.
"New list" pre-creates the DB row before opening List Settings.
Cancelling or closing that modal left an untitled empty list behind;
CreateListAsync now rolls the row back unless the modal reports Saved.
Also moves the new-list/import-repo buttons up next to the "My Lists"
label instead of a row below the list, and puts Notes above Important
in the smart-list nav order.
The editor was reachable from one button that only appeared in My Day,
which is how it got forgotten. It is now a permanent sidebar entry next
to My Day and Planned, and it fills the tasks island rather than the
details pane, because a note list is content.
Inside, the date picker is gone: today sits at the top with the capture
box, older days follow as dated groups. Enter in a note saves it and
opens the next one, Shift+Enter breaks the line so notes can be several,
Backspace on an empty note deletes it and steps back up. Deleting also
has a visible hover button instead of only "clear the text and hope".
Agent-written notes carry a marker.

"3 neue Tasks" in Rot
(nextPhase "merge"), kein Triage/Wait davor. Handler-Host-Task wie beim vollen
"Let Claude handle it"-Lauf (HandlerBaseCommit, IsManual).
ListsIslandViewModel.OpenInExplorer, MergeSectionViewModel.OpenWorktree,
WorktreesOverviewModalViewModel.OpenInExplorer, AboutModalViewModel.OpenPath and
TasksIslandViewModel.OpenTaskWorktree each reimplemented "open this path in the
shell" with their own existence check, launch mechanism and error handling.
Replace all five with the new ShellOpen.Path helper and route failures through
the existing ErrorReported -> footer-strip convention instead of bare catch {}.
ListsIslandViewModel and SettingsModalViewModel each re-implemented "does
this list have a linked WorkingDir" with different whitespace handling.
RepoLinkage.IsLinked/IsLinkedInDb is now the single definition; both
callers derive from it, closing the whitespace-only WorkingDir gap where
the Settings modal disagreed with the ListsIsland banner.
HasNoLinkedRepo on ListsIslandViewModel drives a dismiss-less banner under the
Lists-Island header when no User list has a linked repo; recomputed on load
and after list CRUD / list-settings save. Sharpens the #192 empty-state texts
into one readable chain (banner → no-repo list → repo-linked list) and adds a
line to the WorkConsole review gate spelling out that Approve also merges the
whole unit.
Drei unabhängige Reactivity-Bugs aus dem Polish-Audit 2026-08-20:
1. Description-Autosave überschrieb den falschen Task, weil SaveDescriptionAsync
Task.
Stop/Enqueue/Dequeue/Reset&Retry (DetailsIslandViewModel), status/cancel/reject
commands (TasksIslandViewModel), Mission Control's drag-enqueue and queue
refresh, and "Open findings folder" (ListsIslandViewModel) used to catch {}
or silently return on a blocked precondition. They now report through the
existing ErrorReported -> FlashFooterError path, with new en/de locale keys
and Ui.Tests covering each converted command.
Two chokepoints per P0-2: WorkerClient.InvokeTimedAsync(<T>) wraps all 63
_hub.InvokeAsync call sites (plus TryInvokeAsync), and Stopwatch blocks
around the Island VMs' bulk DB load/write paths (list load, task list load,
reorders, batch delete, reconcile tick, count refresh). Single-row reads
stay untouched per the plan's rule of thumb. No display, no behavior change.
A list working_dir stored as "C:\Dev\Tests\StaplerTracking\" broke every consumer
that puts it on a Windows command line: argv rules read \" as an escaped quote, so
the token never closes. "Open in terminal" passed wt.exe a starting directory of
C:\Dev\Tests\StaplerTracking" and it failed with 0x8007010b; the same data had
already corrupted the ConPTY list handler's arg list in August.
Paths.TrimTrailingSeparator is now the single helper (replacing the copies in
InteractiveLaunchSpecService and ClaudeHelpLauncher) and ListRepository applies it
on Add/Update, which covers every writer: UI create, repo import, hub UpdateList,
and MCP CreateList/UpdateList. OpenInTerminal also switches to ArgumentList so its
quoting is correct regardless of what's stored.
## Befund (am Code verifiziert 2026-08-06)
`AppSettingsEntity.

OpenInTerminal lost its foreground-grant call, leaving ForegroundHelper
without a caller. Restore it ahead of the Process.Start (covers both the
wt.exe and cmd.exe fallback paths) instead of deleting the helper.
Reminders written down as todos had no home: every task looked like Claude work.
A manual task now shows a MANUAL badge and hides send-to-queue, refine and the
planning session; the queue picker, daily prep and the list handler all skip it,
with a TaskStateService guard so the MCP surface and hub cannot start one either.
Opening a hand-driven ConPTY session stays available on purpose.
A list can be marked manual in its settings, which makes tasks created there
(UI and MCP add_task) start out manual. Toggle per task from its context menu.
Collapses the ~10 per-modal Show*Modal Func callbacks (wired separately on the shell and the lists island) into one IDialogService + WindowDialogService impl. Removes the RepoImport/WorktreesOverview dialog construction duplicated across MainWindow and ListsIslandView, plus the Confirm/Error dialogs duplicated in both code-behinds. Shell/lists Open* commands now route through an injected Dialogs handle (propagated shell->lists); the per-list worktrees overview also wires conflict resolution now, matching the global one. No VM ctor changes (Dialogs is a settable seam), so no test-fake impact.
Add 16 missing members to IWorkerClient (IsReconnecting, WorkerLogReceivedEvent,
PrimeFired, LastApproveTarget, Refresh/RestoreDefaultAgents, UpdateAppSettings,
prime schedule CRUD, UpdateList/UpdateListConfig, all worktree ops).
Switch all production consumers off the concrete WorkerClient type; only
Program.cs/App host still resolves the concrete registration.
Update StubWorkerClient and FakeWorkerClient to satisfy the expanded interface.

- DetailsIslandViewModel/TasksIslandViewModel/ListsIslandViewModel: implement
IDisposable, unsubscribe Loc.LanguageChanged and worker events (memory leaks).
- IslandsShellViewModel: dispose the three System.Timers.Timer instances.
- StopAsync: guard on Task/IsRunning/IsConnected and wrap CancelTask in try/catch.
- TaskMatchesList virtual:review now matches WaitingForReview (aligns with ReviewFilter).

Smart-list nav labels were localized only at load; subscribe the singleton
ListsIslandViewModel to language changes and re-localize names in place.

- Drag-to-reorder user lists in the sidebar, persisted via a new
list sort_order column (AddListSortOrder migration, backfilled by
creation time) and ListRepository.ReorderAsync
- "Open in Explorer" / "Open in Terminal" context-menu actions on lists
- "Clear all completed" button on the Tasks island
- Inline-edit subtask titles (empty text deletes the step) and
click-to-copy task ID in the Details island
- Make modal and planning windows resizable (BorderOnly decorations
with min sizes) instead of fixed-size borderless

Add Merge entry to the worktrees overview context menu wiring the existing
MergeModalViewModel, replace fire-and-forget list selection with a
collection-change-aware JumpToTaskHelper, and propagate list renames to
visible task rows via a new ListUpdated event.
Harden worktree state changes: WorkerHub.SetWorktreeState now rejects
invalid transitions, WorktreeMaintenanceService only drops the DB row when
the on-disk worktree was actually removed, and Cleanup/Reset broadcast
WorktreeUpdated for affected tasks. SetWorktreeStateAsync returns the hub
error message so the modal can surface it.
Also: de-duplicate the worktrees overview modal opener, hook
OnParentTaskIdChanged to refresh IsDraft, fix MergeModal CanExecute
notifications, and add WorktreeStateHubTests for the transition rules.

Add list context-menu command (per-list mode) and Help menu entry (global mode) for the WorktreesOverviewModal; register VM and factory in DI.

Replaces six scattered "chore" literals across TaskEntity, ListEntity,
WorkerHub, ListsIslandViewModel, ListNavItemViewModel and the inline
commit type list in ListSettingsModalViewModel.
Three behavioral changes around stuck planning subtasks:
- OrphanRecovery no longer clears ParentTaskId. Queued children of a
parent that is not in a planning phase are dequeued (Status: Queued
-> Idle, BlockedByTaskId cleared) but stay attached to the parent so
the historical lineage is preserved.
- DiscardPlanningAsync stops promoting terminal (Done/Failed/Cancelled)
children to top-level for the same reason - they remain ChildTasks of
the (now non-planning) parent.
- New PlanningLineageRecovery hosted service scans
~/.todo-app/planning-sessions/ and re-attaches a single, unambiguous
blocked-by chain to its original planning parent when the
parent_task_id links were lost. Refuses to guess when multiple
candidate chains exist.
UI now exposes ConnectionRestoredEvent on IWorkerClient, fired on first
connect and every reconnect. ListsIslandViewModel refreshes counters
and TasksIslandViewModel reloads the current list - so stale counts no
longer survive a worker restart.

Replace the three drifting filter implementations (counter, list loader,
regroup) with one ITaskListFilter strategy per list kind. Counter and list
loader now share the same predicates, so they cannot diverge again. Planning
hierarchy rules (parent-as-context, orphan handling) live in PlanningRules
and are unit-tested via 29 new tests in ClaudeDo.Data.Tests.

Wire TasksIslandViewModel to TaskUpdated/WorktreeUpdated/TaskMessage worker
events so rows refresh without a full reload; add ForegroundHelper to permit
wt.exe to take foreground on planning launch; misc UI polish on lists, task
rows and settings modal.

- Right-click on a task row exposes Send to queue / Remove from queue
and Schedule for... / Clear schedule actions.
- New virtual:queued list in the sidebar with live count.
- Sidebar counts are now computed (open per list, running, queued,
review) and refreshed on task- and worker-side events.
- Sending a task to the queue wakes the worker so it starts immediately.
