Nine interfaces had exactly one implementation and no test double — they existed
only to be named twice in a DI registration: IFindingsStore, IFindingsStoreLocator,
IPrimeScheduleSignal, IRefineRunner, IWeekReportService, IMergeCoordinator,
IMissionControlPane, IOnlineLoginService, ITaskListFilter. Consumers now depend on
the concrete type; the DTO records that shared those files moved next to their
implementation. IInteractiveLaunchSpecService stays — it carries 54 lines of
contract documentation, which is not ceremony.
IMergeCoordinator in particular had a redundant null object: MergeCoordinator with
a null Handler already no-ops, and every test used the real class with Handler set.
Filtering/ collapses from 8 files to 1. ITaskListFilter and TaskListFilterBase were
a double abstraction over four predicates, with MatchesAsContext => false declared
in both. SmartFlagFilter also compiled its expression twice (its own _flag plus the
inherited Matches cache) — it now uses the cache.
StaticTokenAuthProvider was in src but production uses ZitadelAuthProvider; it is
a test double, so it moves to the test project. Its own test goes away with it.
A MinVer dev build on main computes a prerelease of its own guessed next
version (e.g. 2.9.1-alpha.0.14 after tag v2.9.0), which already sorts
above the last tag by numeric core, so the update banner correctly
stays quiet there. But the reduction to a bare numeric core meant a
genuine new release landing at exactly that guessed version (v2.9.1
real) compared equal to the still-running prerelease and the banner
never fired. A prerelease now only loses to a real release of the same
core, not to another prerelease of the same core.
Verified against the live repo: latest published tag is v2.9.0; a
Release build of this worktree (14 commits ahead) reports
AssemblyInformationalVersion 2.9.1-alpha.0.14+<sha>.
Adds a Usage Monitor modal (Worker menu + wired to the footer/Mission-Control
usage pill's Open command): dynamic gauges built from UsageSnapshotDto.Limits
with gate-threshold marks, a stale/blocked-gate band, and Models/Tasks tabs
backed by GetModelUsageAsync/GetTaskUsageAsync over a 7d/30d/custom range.
Adds the IWorkerClient/WorkerClient usage surface (GetUsageSnapshot,
GetModelUsage, GetTaskUsage, UsageUpdated event) and a shared
UsagePillViewModel hosted once in IslandsShellViewModel (footer) and
once in MissionControlViewModel (header), showing "5h X% · 7d Y%"
with warn/blocked/stale states via existing design tokens. The
OpenMonitorCommand is wired but currently a no-op, pending the usage
monitor modal.
The RequestConflictResolution Func was declared on 5 VMs and hand-threaded shell->details->merge-section->diff->merge-modal. Replaced with a DI-singleton IMergeCoordinator (MergeCoordinator holder; shell wires its Handler at composition, breaking the shell<->island cycle). Invokers (MergeModal, DetailsIsland, WorktreesOverview) depend on the interface; the two pass-through VMs (DiffModal, MergeSection) drop the seam entirely. No behavior change; conflict-seam + batch tests rewired to assert via the coordinator.
New Settings tab: enable toggle, config fields, sign-in/out + status.
OnlineLoginService runs the PKCE loopback flow (Duende.IdentityModel.OidcClient
7.1.0), opens the system browser, captures the callback, hands the refresh
token to the Worker. en/de localized. Fixes: loopback callback URL built from
host:port base (avoids doubled redirect path); PollIntervalSeconds threaded
through the state DTO so it loads instead of resetting to 60.
Visual layout + the live sign-in round-trip need manual verification.

Add 16 missing members to IWorkerClient (IsReconnecting, WorkerLogReceivedEvent,
PrimeFired, LastApproveTarget, Refresh/RestoreDefaultAgents, UpdateAppSettings,
prime schedule CRUD, UpdateList/UpdateListConfig, all worktree ops).
Switch all production consumers off the concrete WorkerClient type; only
Program.cs/App host still resolves the concrete registration.
Update StubWorkerClient and FakeWorkerClient to satisfy the expanded interface.

- TaskRunner: extract worktree-vs-sandbox selection into
PrepareRunDirectoryAsync so RunAsync reads linearly (a small helper, not
a Strategy pattern — overkill for a two-way branch).
- App: drop the public static ServiceProvider locator; inject the provider
via constructor through AppBuilder.Configure(() => new App(services)).
Parameterless ctor + BuildAvaloniaApp() retained for the XAML designer.

Add IsNotesMode/Notes to DetailsIslandViewModel; ShowNotes() loads today's
notes and switches the island body to NotesEditorView via IsVisible toggling.

A LocalSystem Windows service can't see the logged-in user's Claude CLI
authentication, so the worker now runs as the current user via a hidden
per-user logon Scheduled Task with restart-on-failure.
- Worker is WinExe (no console window) with a Serilog rolling file sink and
a single-instance mutex so the logon task, app ensure-running, and Restart
button can't fight over the SignalR port.
- Installer replaces the service steps (register/start/stop) with autostart
task steps, migrates the legacy ClaudeDoWorker service away on update, and
removes the task on uninstall. ServicePage drops the service-account UI.
- UI gains a WorkerLocator; the app ensures the worker is running at startup
and the Restart button kills+relaunches this install's worker process.

Add Merge entry to the worktrees overview context menu wiring the existing
MergeModalViewModel, replace fire-and-forget list selection with a
collection-change-aware JumpToTaskHelper, and propagate list renames to
visible task rows via a new ListUpdated event.
Harden worktree state changes: WorkerHub.SetWorktreeState now rejects
invalid transitions, WorktreeMaintenanceService only drops the DB row when
the on-disk worktree was actually removed, and Cleanup/Reset broadcast
WorktreeUpdated for affected tasks. SetWorktreeStateAsync returns the hub
error message so the modal can surface it.
Also: de-duplicate the worktrees overview modal opener, hook
OnParentTaskIdChanged to refresh IsDraft, fix MergeModal CanExecute
notifications, and add WorktreeStateHubTests for the transition rules.

- Restyle to match ListSettingsModalView: custom title bar, DeepBrush
toolbar, LineBrush footer, SurfaceBrush outer border, no system chrome
- Add column header row (TASK / BRANCH / STATE / DIFF / AGE) with
TextFaintBrush + MonoFont + LetterSpacing, separator line below
- Replace wt-row style with task-row-equivalent: transparent bg,
CornerRadius 8, 1px border, :pointerover + .selected transitions
- Add IsSelected to WorktreeOverviewRowViewModel; SelectRow() helper
on modal VM clears previous selection before setting new one
- Wire OnRowTapped in code-behind for click-to-select
- Wire ShowDiff: VM takes Func<WorktreeModalViewModel> factory, builds
diffVm and delegates window creation to both call sites (MainWindow
and ListsIslandView); register Func<WorktreeModalViewModel> in DI

Add list context-menu command (per-list mode) and Help menu entry (global mode) for the WorktreesOverviewModal; register VM and factory in DI.

Uses MinVer to derive the version from git tags (prefix "v"), stored in
AssemblyInformationalVersion. Program.cs reads that attribute (stripping
the "+sha" build metadata) so the update-check compares against a clean
semver. CI overrides the tag via /p:MinVerVersionOverride=$VERSION.
- Right-click on a task row exposes Send to queue / Remove from queue
and Schedule for... / Clear schedule actions.
- New virtual:queued list in the sidebar with live count.
- Sidebar counts are now computed (open per list, running, queued,
review) and refreshed on task- and worker-side events.
- Sending a task to the queue wakes the worker so it starts immediately.
Adds WorktreeModalView/ViewModel showing git status --porcelain as a
recursive file tree with M/A/D/? status badges. Wires the Worktree
button in AgentStripView to OpenWorktreeCommand on DetailsIslandViewModel.
Adds GetStatusPorcelainAsync to GitService.

Tasks with subtasks show a chevron for inline expand/collapse.
Subtask checkboxes toggle completion state directly. Also sets
Windows AppUserModelID for proper taskbar identity.

- Fix sort order regression in GetByListIdAsync (was descending, should be ascending)
- Restore WAL mode pragma (was silently dropped in EF migration)
- Add existing-DB compatibility shim in MigrateAndConfigure (baselines InitialCreate
migration for databases created by the old schema.sql)
- Remove dead AddDbContext/AddScoped registrations from Worker (only IDbContextFactory
is used by singleton consumers)
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.6 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
Worker and App Program.cs: replace SqliteConnectionFactory+SchemaInitializer
with AddDbContextFactory<ClaudeDoDbContext> + Database.Migrate(). Repos
changed from AddSingleton to AddScoped.
All singleton services (QueueService, StaleTaskRecovery, WorktreeManager,
TaskRunner) and singleton ViewModels (MainWindowViewModel, TaskDetailViewModel,
TaskListViewModel, TaskEditorViewModel) now take IDbContextFactory<ClaudeDoDbContext>
and create short-lived contexts per operation.
Test infrastructure: DbFixture now uses EF migrations instead of SchemaInitializer;
all test classes create contexts via DbFixture.CreateContext().
Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- task detail vm: LoadAsync now uses a per-call CancellationTokenSource
so rapid TaskUpdated events can't race on _taskId / Subtasks / Tags;
old subtask PropertyChanged handlers are torn down before Clear
- task detail vm: async void event handlers (OnTaskUpdated,
OnWorktreeUpdated, OnSubtaskPropertyChanged) wrap work in try/catch
so thrown exceptions can't crash the Avalonia sync context
- task detail vm: Clear cancels/disposes the load CTS so a late-arriving
LoadAsync can't resurrect detail state after deselect
- app: DisposeAsync the ServiceProvider in a finally after the classic
desktop lifetime ends, so WorkerClient.DisposeAsync runs and the
SignalR connection closes cleanly instead of being abandoned

Per-task checklist backend: subtasks table with CASCADE delete,
SubtaskEntity + SubtaskRepository (connection-per-op, async), DI
registration in App and Worker, TaskRunner composes a '## Sub-Tasks'
markdown block into the Claude prompt when subtasks exist.

App: build a ServiceProvider in Program.cs (AppSettings, SqliteConnectionFactory,
all repositories, GitService, WorkerClient, all view-models), apply schema, then
hand control to Avalonia. App.OnFrameworkInitializationCompleted resolves
MainWindowViewModel from the container.
Ui:
- AppSettings POCO loaded from ~/.todo-app/ui.config.json (db path, hub url).
- WorkerClient wraps HubConnection with auto-reconnect, exposes IsConnected and
ActiveTasks plus C# events for TaskStarted/Finished/Message/Updated and
WorktreeUpdated; all inbound events are marshalled to the UI thread.
- ViewModels: MainWindow (lists CRUD via ListEditor dialog), TaskList (load by
list, add/edit/delete, auto WakeQueue on agent+queued create), TaskItem
(RunNow gated on connection + status), TaskDetail (description, result, live
ndjson rolling buffer of 500 lines, worktree branch/diff with merge/keep/
discard via GitService), StatusBar, ListEditor, TaskEditor.
- Views: 3-pane MainWindow (lists | tasks | detail) with GridSplitters, status
bar, dialog windows for the editors. Status badges via StatusColorConverter.
- Markdown rendering, folder picker, delete-confirmation, settings dialog and
scroll-to-bottom on the live log are intentionally TODO -- functional
scaffold only.
Tests: also debounce the FIFO queue test (poll instead of Task.Delay(200)) so
the assertion isn't racy when the suite runs alongside the slower git tests.
38 tests pass.
